# Choosing from a list

> A recipe — one screen answering one question.

ListViewWindow does single and multi selection, with the title, the confirm and the tap-to-choose already wired.

- Framework: CrossFly (Java; one source for Android, iOS, desktop (Windows, macOS and Linux) and the web — Chrome, Firefox, Safari and other browsers)
- Entry point: `dev.cf.recipe.R06Select`
- Topics: lists, input
- Run it locally: `gradlew lwjgl3:run --args="classname dev.cf.recipe.R06Select"`
- Run it in a browser: https://crossfly.dev/playground/index.html?ex=select
- Page: https://crossfly.dev/examples/select

## What this shows

Picking one from a list, and picking several — without building either by hand.

This recipe exists because the reference app on this framework wrote its own single-choice
sheet while `ListViewWindow` sat unused. Reading this one screen is cheaper than
rediscovering it.

## Framework types it uses

`Button`, `Component`, `Debug`, `Label`, `ListViewWindow`, `Screen`, `Styles`, `Widgets`
