# Reordering a list

> A recipe — one screen answering one question.

The first row has no up arrow and the last has no down arrow — hidden, not removed, so the column does not jitter as rows move.

- Framework: CrossFly (Java; one source for Android, iOS, desktop (Windows, macOS and Linux) and the web — Chrome, Firefox, Safari and other browsers)
- Entry point: `dev.cf.recipe.R08Reorder`
- Topics: lists
- Run it locally: `gradlew lwjgl3:run --args="classname dev.cf.recipe.R08Reorder"`
- Run it in a browser: https://crossfly.dev/playground/index.html?ex=reorder
- Page: https://crossfly.dev/examples/reorder

## What this shows

A list whose order is the data: move rows, drop rows, read the order back.

## Framework types it uses

`Component`, `GridLayout`, `Label`, `ReorderableList`, `Screen`, `Styles`, `Utils`, `Widgets`
